No offense rankings now means nothing till the end. Bama was 100th last year this time and ended up what top 5. A lot can change. But it is exciting when you have a committ because it’s easier to keep once they committ then them flipping.

I agree lots will change and recruits will change their mind but always good to build momentum and something interesting for fans in the offseason

PSU Lands 5 Star LB Brandon Smith

The 6-foot-4, 223-pound prospect is the nation’s No. 2 inside linebacker and the country’s No. 30 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is rated similarly by 247Sports as the No. 32 overall prospect and the No. 2 inside linebacker.

Rudolph is considered the second-best recruit from Connecticut this cycle, behind only Clemson quarterback commit Taisun Phommachanh, according to 247Sports. Marquis Wilson, a four-star athlete from Avon, CT, committed to Penn State Sunday evening.

my thinking as well. Plus not everyone is Alabama and can just draft most targets.

We have the #2 TE

That's a great offensive start
We will get a top 5 RB we always do
We will get a top 5 Olineman, we always do.

Now we need some stud, Safeties, CB and LB's to round out this recruiting cycle.
