4* RB Noah Cain commits to Penn State. Huge get for coach Franklin.
Agree. I was hoping we would get him. However, I'm really liking the name Crawley. Can't wait for the Shoe to start jamming Ozzie " Mr. Crawley" when he gets on the field, lol.

I have no idea how this kid is only a 3*. He's the Florida POY, can't imagine that happens very often. Not sure if he'll play RB or OLB here, but he's a player for sure.

I think we can handle not bringing one in. Even if we don't get Fields, I'm fine with going into next year with Martell, Baldwin, and Chug. The way I see it, if we get Fields, he plays here for at least two years. If we don't, Martell probably plays here for at least two years. Miller comes in after next season and is the heir apparent, and Matt Baldwin is still a really good QB option as well.

Baldwin is Day's guy, I wouldnt assume Martell to be the automatic starter next year (if Fields goes elsewhere)

I would have liked to kept Mathis for depth purposes (and future development of course) Will be interesting to see how the rest of this class pans out, i'd expect a few late runs looking for diamonds in the rough to fill out the remainder (After Harrison)

Good win for Oklahoma but a loss for Oregon.
I’d say Oregon cleaned house this recruiting class regardless. Likely the top PaC 12 and top 10 class with 4 losses is impressive.

Trey Sanders must have flipped from Bama to UGA 3 times today. Probably signing with Bammer once the dust is settled.

I think Martell is the more talented of the two. Also, to be fair, it's not like Baldwin was always Day's guy. We didn't even offer him until November of last year. I think he was more of a consolation prize. Not that he isn't a good QB, but I think Martell is the better of the two. Plus Martell has a year of experience with Day extra that Baldwin doesn't.

Maybe not "always his guy" from the start but from what I understand Day was the one who pushed for Baldwin, I could be wrong though. He was a late riser in that class.

We've never seen Baldwin in live game action so it's hard to comment on his skills other than practice reports. I'm assuming an offense involving Martell will look similar to the Braxton Miller era, they are very similar in style (Martell might have a slight edge on passing)

I've been seeing that he may be trending back towards Bama. Never know with these kids tho, I don't bother with it one way or the other until the LOI is signed.

Haselwood apparently said he is signing and faxing his LOI today but won't announce until the 5th. Of course that is going to get out before then.
