So Foltynewicz is sent down & they bring up Sobotka??!!

Mercy....doesn’t this seem to indicate a Gausman return to the rotation?!

There's no need to bring up a starter to fill the spot until the spot in the rotation comes up. Every time something like this happens, either an extra bullpen arm or a third catcher is brought up until then.

Hopefully Sobotka found what was working last year and can be the reliever we thought he would be this year.

Never understand your hate for Touki. He is Young but clearly has potential, nobody shows up as an ace right away

He hates Julio, Touki, Riley, Dansby, Charlie and Freddie, and he's extremely bipolar on Acuna.

Really the only players I haven't seen him say a bad word about is Ozzie, Soroka and Fried, and I'm sure I just didn't see those.

With us pretty much carrying 3 starters who can go multiple innings in the pen, I think we could go to a 7 man bullpen and a 5 man bench. Travis Demeritte is killing it in AAA.

I only Dislike..

1.Alex Anthoupolos
2.Brian Snitker
3.Luke Jackson(my hate has lessened this year but still don’t want him as closer)
4. $23M- not that I dislike him it’s more of my disgust of AA for giving him that much money causes me to be extra critical of him

Not promising for sure. He's probably my pick for biggest disappointment this season.

Other than Kimbrel the guys that are called closers of the future for us never seem to work out. Shae Simmons, Mauricio Cabrera, AJ Minter, Chad Sobotka, etc.

Agreed on the first two.

I don't mind Luke Jackson as a middle reliever, but he's not a closer, but it's not his fault that he's in that spot.

I'm not crazy about Donaldson, but he's been hot lately, and if he keeps it up, I'll take him, still think that money would have been better spent elsewhere though.

I'm not a fan of Tyler Flowers at all. I think pitch framing is his only real asset.

Though I think Simmons would have been a stud if he didn't blow out his arm.

Will big Gohara soon be added to this list?

While he’s maybe weakest link in the regular offensive rotation, I’ll take .272 with 7 homers (only 15 rbi tho) while splitting time with Brian.

He has been a pleasant surprise offensively, but I'm not expecting it to last, and he's not good at blocking pitches.

I'll never understand why we chose him over Kurt Suzuki. I know they say Flowers is a great pitch framer, but the pitchers ERAs were lower across the board with Suzuki catching last season.

I would agree with I don’t expect it to last. I was thinking somewhere around .240. Also would have preferred Suzuki.

However the total eras weren’t far off the last two seasons. Kurt had 4.50 and 3.80 the last two seasons while Flo had 4.87 and 3.81.

I think I posted on the first page the ERA's of the starters with both.

It's worked out so far though, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Are we ever gonna fucking see Darren O’Day?? Or was that Gausman trade just a big fail all the way around???

I don't think O'Day has even began baseball activities. It was a fail.
