I'm about over Donaldson. Zero homers, 0 RBIs hitting in the two spot. Might have changed the game if he would have came through with the bases loaded.

But fuck that Matz guy. Next time we face him, bat Ender leadoff, and have him charge the mound on the first pitch remotely inside and force Matz to throw a punch so he gets ejected. I'd rather face deGrom or Syndergaard. Syndergaard has never beaten us, and we've beaten deGrom before numerous times.

His numbers are good but he accumulates them in non stressful moments.

I'd honestly rather face him and Syndergaard than Matz and Wheeler. Both pitch well against us, but we tend to beat them more than they beat us. We can't beat Matz or Wheeler.

Touki was lights out last night as far as I'm concerned. I don't know if it was an anomaly or what since he didn't make the team originally, but he was great last night.

And fuck Newcomb. That was a shit show. I swear it felt like one of my son's little league games with all the fucking balls and walks. Wait, That's a lie. Those 11 and 12 year olds throw more strikes than that.

Newcomb has 3 starts on the year.

His first one was against the Cubs. He didn't allow any runs, but only went 4 innings because he walked about 100 batters.

His next start was against the Marlins, who might be the worst team in the Majors. He has a good start, but only 2 strikeouts in 7 innings, and even then, the bullpen had to get up in the second inning because he was walking batters. Had that been against any other team, he's probably leaving the game in the second inning.

And then you had last night. Offense gets him a 4 run lead and chase the Mets starter after .1 innings, and then he can't even get out of the second inning and gives up the 4 run lead because he walked about a million batters in 1.2 innings.

Yall shit on Julio a lot, but I'll take Julio over Newcomb every day. And Newk is 25, he's not some raw 21 year old anymore.

My preferred rotation is:

1. Folty
2. Fried
3. Gausman
4. Julio
5. Touki
