It would be the second time in team history.

Folty dropped his era all the way down to 5.00. Considering where he was at, pretty impressive

Best it's been in a LONG time. Probably gonna have to go back to the early 2000's to find one that was better. 2009 had Javier Vazquez, Jair Jurrjens and Tommy Hanson all having career years, but Tim Hudson missed most of the year and Kenshin Kawakami and Derek Lowe were terrible.

Really, I don't know what we're gonna do for a playoff rotation, because all of them have earned a spot(Folty isn't what he was last year, but he's been fine lately, and we've won his last 9 starts.

JMO but we are gonna need Fried and Folty the most because they have K stuff.I love Soroka and Keuchel but idk how contact pitchers do in the postseason

Keuchel has really solid postseason numbers.

EVen if they haven't been our best starters, I wouldn't mind Fried and Folty going the first two games because it seems like we win every start they make, and get the most run support.

I'd be willing to make a large bet that Keuchel will get the ball in game 1 though because of the postseason experience, and he's been great ever since that horrible start in Miami too.

Also, if Keuchel and Soroka are on, they're groundball pitchers, and we have excellent infield defense.

This is the first time we've had pitching and hitting since the early 2000's.

I normally get kicked in the nuts when I get optimistic about a sports team, but I haven't felt this good about one of my teams in a long time.

Snit said MARKAKIS could be back this weekend. Would be huge to get him a couple of weeks to get the rust off before the playoffs.

Also idk if we will take 11 or 12 pitchers into the playoffs but so far here is my list of locks.

Idk about Tomlin, he is a great regular season guy and did his job this year eating innings in blowouts but he really hasn’t pitched well recently IMO
