I'm sorry, I'm glad we tied it up, but God damnit, a runner on third with one out needs to be a run every God damn time. Squeeze play, shorten up and hit a fly ball, do whatever it takes, but you can't strikeout there, ever.

This wasn't a great start by any means, but it wasn't a disastrous start either. That's as bad as Julio has been lately, and I'll take 5 inning and 3 runs if those are the bad starts from anybody(I'd be thrilled if we got that out of Gausman any start).

Put it this way, this was a bad start for Julio, and he still gave the team a chance to win by limiting the damage when he clearly didn't have his best stuff working.

The offense have 0 hits with RISP is why the game is tied now.

I hear ya, but this is Julio's story more times than not. Slow start, no run support, umps not calling the corners ... so on and so on. Sooner or later you have to point the finger at him. I'm not saying he's a bad pitcher. He's just not a 1 or 2, and I don't think he's a 3, but he is a solid starter.

So, it looks like Shane Greene can dominate when nobody's watching on a rebuilding team, but can't handle the pressure when the games actually matter.

Not ready to trash Greene too much right now. Not a great start to his time here but it is just 2 games. Given his performance the rest of the season so far, I’m still cautiously optimistic.

With that said, get your shit together Greene. This is a playoff team with big hopes. Not some sorry excuse of a team like the Tigers.
