In terms of WAR, our top 5 pitchers(not just starters) on the team this season are:

1. Mike Soroka- 3.8
2. Julio Teheran- 2.4
3. Max Fried- 1.9
4. Sean Newcomb- 1.1
5. Dallas Keuchel- 0.9

So Teheran on the mound....Freeman with the day off....Riley at 1B & batting 5th....Flowers starting....Camargo starting.....

I’m not sure a win is even a possibility today.
Since when do you care about the bum

I'd have them:

  1. Soroka
  2. Fried
  3. DK
  4. Teheran

Julio has an ERA in the low 3's, and leads the team in innings pitched.

Past performance not withstanding, this season, he's been our second best pitcher.

  1. Soroka
  2. Fried
  3. DK
  4. Teheran

I would go:

Soroka
Fried
Teheran
DK

Gausman

Julio has an ERA in the low 3's, and leads the team in innings pitched.

Past performance not withstanding, this season, he's been our second best pitcher.

I think you are also overrating Fried. He’s been pretty average the last 2 months (over 5 ERA in June and July) after really good first month or two.

But I will say I bet anything our NLDS rotation will be:

Soroka
Keuchel
Fried

He also has 56 walks and we know how those bite us in the ass. And is a big reason he's 6-7, if you ask me.

He has been much better his last few starts.

In a playoff series, I'd have the rotation set as:

1. Keuchel- He has the most playoff experience on the team, and has a ring
2. Soroka- He's been our best pitcher
3. Julio- Been pretty good this year, and looked good in relief against the Dodgers last year
4. Fried- I like him, and I'd take him over Keuchel in the regular season

If Folty comes back pitching like he did last season, I put him in the playoff rotation somewhere.

But a WHIP in the 1.2s, which is pretty good. Lack of run support and Luke Jackson are the biggest reasons he's 6-7. Hell, he got the L against KC despite allowing 0 earned runs.

There always seems to be one pitcher in rotation that can't get any run support(I think deGromed is the proper term now), and for us this season, it's Julio, and one pitcher that gets a shit ton of run support, for us this season, it's Max Fried.

No way Snit would go with a rookie, a guy who is essentially a rookie and Keuchel.

It'll be a 4 man rotation, and I'd bet anything that Keuchel will be the game one starter.

I see all ya'lls stats and raise you "wins." Fried is 12-4. And when it comes down to it, winning is what it's about.

Yea that’s not really all in pitchers control. Fried gets way more run support than Julio has this year. Fried’s wins are inflated by run support

To be fair tho Max Fried is getting 2.2 more runs of support per game.
