I know it’s early but I what I do like from Gausman so far is he has thrown the curve and cutter a little to mix it up. Still mostly 4 seam/sinker but giving a little different look.

Yes it would, but I’d bet against him getting there.

Lance Parrish is the only catcher with 300 or more homers not in the HOF. McCann is a better offense player than Parrish, but Parrish was better defensively.

I don't know. Ryan Zimmerman might be the slowest player in the Majors at this point. It would have had to get all the way to the corner for him to get a double, especially considering he hurt his foot running down the line.

I'm good with smart aggressiveness. That wasn't the time to try to stretch a single into a double. They got to the ball quick and it was pretty shallow.

Meh. The best time to stretch a single into a double is with two outs and a fast guy on the path. Not too many more chances to knock him in.

Dansby is batting like .800 with 5 RBIs against this pitcher, and Freddie has worn him out too. I'd rather make sure they get a shot with a runner on.

Again you probably need two more straight hits (unless Dansby hits a homer) instead of just one. Now atleast you have Dansby leading off. I can live with it.
