Hamel's was actually decent last season until his injury

That being said, have to think this is the last "big" FA signing of the offseason which is disappointing IMO. Unless the payroll is about to exceed 150 million which I've seen reported

Liberty Media has tons of cash, which is why it pisses me off they won't open up the purse for one of the stars like Cole. We really need an experienced stud starting pitcher. Cole, Strasburg (doubt he leaves the Nats anyway) and Bumgarner are all out there and they decide to buy in on a busted up Cole Hamels.

Yeah its extremely annoying to say the least. We could use a stud 3B as well and instead we're going to rely on Camargo/Riley. That's fine except we've got a platoon of Markakis/Duvall and who knows what for LF.

This is our time to win a WS and we're pissing it away building shit in the battery

Sounds like we ain’t bringing Donaldson back. He wants 4 years and at his age that is too many IMO. I only see 1, maybe 2 years of high production left for him.

We have the pieces for Kris Bryant. We can get him without giving up any of our big 3 prospects IMO

We ain't gonna do shit. Liberty Media has money. We've got a bunch of young talent on fair contracts. Just a piece or two away. The World Series window is open and LM is just sitting on its hands.
