That makes a lot of sense. I personally wouldn't have the stomach to deal with all the craziness. It can get pretty nuts with all those factors.

Why I say you can never count on commits until they show up on campus.

I'm still not overly concerned right now.

He lives right off of OU's campus. Him visiting was to be expected. If you don't think Herman was aware of this and planned for it, you're clueless.

He's also in a group chat with all the other commits and a bunch of kids we expect to commit, recruiting for Texas. Until that changes I don't see him not being in this class.

IF he leaves that group, or gets distant......that will be the writing on the wall. Until that happens, nothing to see here.

Yep.

That and you never know how good these kids are actually going to be until they hit the field.

Obviously getting a bunch of 4 and 5 star players definitely helps, but there are no such thing as "sure things" when it comes to kids transitioning into college.

Texas was #5 before they landed BJ Foster arguably the top player in Texas and a 5-star

Might jump into #3 or at least #4 by the time it registers on 247 composite.

Looks like Texas will pull in the best DB class this year hands down. 3 of the top 10 safeties in the nation, and they haven't even landed the CBs they're expected to, which is also a good chunk of the top 10.

Texas is only in on one top 10 CB, and he's #10. You've got 3 top 10 safeties so far, which is good, but OSU's DB class is looking to be better. They've already got 2 top 10 safeties and are in on a 3rd, who is #2 overall, which would give them 2 of the top 3 and 3 of the top 8, not to mention we're likely to get the #2 CB and are in great shape to get the #4 CB.

Overshown is #9, but he is probably a LB in 2 years. He is 6'4" and 200 lbs. Getting to 230 is probably a lock in a college strength program.

In on cook, green, and Jamison at CB. Lead for Green and Jamison and probably sitting #2 on Cook. Texas leads for Jamison and Woodard (WR), both are Cooks teammates. That may help down the line. Truth is getting 2 out of 3 from Cook, Green, and Jamison would make me happy. I want Jamison the most right now. He is the best athlete of the 3. Cook is crazy polished. Complete technician already
