The Tigers younger players should get some playing time tonight. LSU welcomes some Tiger bait to the BOX hosting the Colonels of Nichols. They are probably the weakest club we will face this season.

Is Arizona any good this year? I see they're undefeated but am guessing that Eastern Kentucky and McNeese State aren't CWS teams this year.

I agree with Derski. Cloney is our ace and he's picked up this season where he left off in Omaha. Megill is also a returner but I wasn't impressed with his consistency last year, and I'm still not. I haven't seen much of the rest of the staff but I think they probably have a long way to go this season. Ming is our returning closer and he should be solid.

Our offense looks stacked. Granted it's not the best competition, but the stats are ridiculous. Our returning hitters from last year should remain solid, and we have some freshmen bats that might be really special.

Like you said, I'm also looking forward to the tourney in Frisco; it should be a good gauge of where the team's at against strong competition and really show our weaknesses.

Clemson is off to a 5-2 start and looks to make it 6-2 by the end of the night. We're up 4-0 on Wofford going into the 4th. Our 2 losses came at the hands of Wright St!! Who the fuck is Wright St. I see that they also took one from the gamecocks the other day.

Maneri sucks, awful awful awful coach. Is is that little league coach that sits back and recruits the best in the state to play for him, and chews on a cigar while the kids play. He is the Les Miles of baseball. Drove all the way to Houston to watch LSU get outcoached twice.
