I think it was a reach for need and perceived upside. He's got potential, but I really question his build and strength for the position.

I think it might have been a bit of a panic move. If you're not comfortable rolling the dice on Jack, Tunsil is off your board, and you legitimately thought NYG were going to take Floyd...

I think Pace has killed it in Free Agency, this year and last.



Leonard Floyd prolly wouldn't have been my pick, but who really knows? Maybe he's the next LT er some shit? I'll at least wait to see him play I guess.

I just don't like that it was based on their assumption that the Giants would take him. Reminds me of Shea McClellin when he was drafted.

well, I got a wish of Pace taking a 4th and moving up to get his man. Most mocks had Floyd at 11, but I think Tunsil dropped past NY's board and they would have taken floyd. We all knew Tampa was taking the corner. Yeah, might have lost a pick, but hope this means alot to Floyd. Love the Aldon Smith comparisons.

I also could see them wanting to get younger opposite McPhee and a more consist edge rusher.




My biggest beef is that there are allot of great DEs in this draft, was he worth the pick given? Maybe they see something special in him. We'll see.

Well... obviously Pace and our scouts were very high on him to trade up to get him.

However, we just invested a lot to draft a player at arguably our STRONGEST position.

He better be a damn stud.
