Ive seen people say they may package 3rds to get both ol's in a potential back to back 2nd round pick scenario ... doubtful imo though

You really don't want to speculate, but it could have been sudden heart failure or stroke - A colleague of mine died a couple of years ago in his bathroom shower and they ruled it as cardiovascular failure and he was in great shape in his early 50s. These things can just happen out of the blue.

Same thing happened to my dad - A weak (sick) heart and poor functioning kidneys led to swollen legs and eventually a risky heart surgery that ultimately was not successful. At least my dad made it to 79, Cortez passing at 48 is way way too young.
