Yeah, that meeting was in Los Angeles. Love and Lebron are going to sign with the Lakers.

If the Heat keep Dragic and Wade - and I think they will - Miami is going to have a nice little starting unit.

Dragic - Wade - Winslow - Bosh - Whiteside

That lineup has contender potential in the Eastern conf

That would end the 1-year love fest between the Lakers and Heat fans on this board...

Neither would I. At 30 I would but at 33 and probably out of his prime by the time he signs the deal, no way in hell

Depends was the next 3 years look like. If he is playing as many minutes as he did this year then no. He he gets limited minutes I still think he is worth 8 million. 8 million is nothing, role players are getting 8 million now.

Ohh do you mean 40 million a year? lol. Bc that is a shit ton of money for anyone even in their prime.

$40 mil sounds like a ton because we're use to the cap being where it is. $20 mil is a ton of money and $40 mil is a ton of money... but when it comes down to it... the superstars of the league are currently underpaid and a few of them still would be even at $40 mil.


There's no reason to balk at $40 mil but not balk at the current $20 mil.... they're both the max allowable and represent the market value.

They're really no different... its just scaled because the tv networks are about to pay a ton of money to the owners.... and some of that filters down to the players who are the reason the networks are willing to pay so much.


Also... there will be a bargaining battle in 2017 that may include a lockout... so who knows if those numbers will be there or not.

CAnnot wait until July 1st when everything starts coming together.

Alrdidge signing with the Spurs would put a damper on things though. That would make the Spurs awfully tough-


though the Cavs were absolutely amazing when they had all their players---- I kinda doubt JR is back- they need to find a couple back court players- because Irving and Shumpert is a good starting back court- but they need depth---- go get Mo Williams and 2-3 other guys that want to try and win a title.

Front court is GOLD with Love, Thompson, Mozgov, Varejao

What if Deng stays?
He still starts I would easily image.
Winslow comes off the bench as either a 2 or 3 then I would guess.

He is definitely aging though. Probably got one or two decent seasons left. Would provide some offense for Memphis.

We have only seen a small sample of Whiteside.
Deng might not come back.
Wade cant play a half of season if he does come back.
And Winslow has potential but could be a bust.
A lot of questions. The Cavs if they bring back this team will have one year under the belt with most likely even better pieces around the lineup.

Or sign Wade. If they dont sign Wade they are just an average team, maybe borderline playoffs, borderline .500. Wade is easily the key in this whole thing.
