Miami is going to be very good, they made a lot of improvements to the bench and Bosh missed a lot of time last season. That starting 5 is pretty damn good. I like Miami in 3 of the 5 starting positions. And Whiteside is playing for a big contract.

I like Miami in a pretty epic 6-7 game series if they face off.

It'll be interesting if that ever happens. Truthfully, Miami needs to stay healthy. I know Wade can suck it up come playoff time (depending on what's nagging him in May/June), but Deng's health plus Winslow's progress are important this season. It also depends on how Spoelstra will adjust, which is something all Heat fans are critical of him.

At this point, I could see the Cavs winning in 6 in a hard fought series. But it depends on what both teams look like come playoff time.

becasue of the composition of their roster- they have no one that runs on the whole team besides dragic- and maeybe green and its not like green is a young guy anymore- you think WAde and Deng are running and bosh? haha not likely

this will have to resume later- going dtown to file- enjoy the weekend.

We've already filed you under "F, S" for fucking stupid.

Both teams need to stay healthy. IRving and Love always seem to be hurt as well as Sideshow Bob.

Reality is, probably neither team would be healthy...so if James is, the Cavs more than likely win.
If for any reason he's not, and the Heat are, we bitch slap them easily.

Yeah, at this point I don't know why Wiggy keeps bringing up Verajo (spelling?). That guy is guaranteed to be injured around December/January and he's going to be 33 next month anyway. His best days are far behind him, I'd give his spot to Mosgov who I actually think is a steal at $5 mil per (one of the few things the Cavs have done right).

But like I said, the Heat need to stay healthy.

That looks like a scam to me, paid models and shit just to get you to be a member.

I've had a co-worker of mine who uses it. It's legit. I wouldn't know, I've been with my fiance for 6 years next month and my balls are in a vice at this point.

I've heard from some that it works both ways.
Some legit, some bullshit.
I guess, like with anything else, if it looks TOO GOOD to be true it prob isn't.
On the other hand, today's youth lacks in social skills, so meeting through facebook, texts, apps is very common.

LOL at the other comment. Smart man, I was married once upon a time.

Whiteside could be the difference maker if he keeps his head screwed on straight. Kid looks like he could be a beast.

Agreed. That kid has all the potential in the world. But like others, mentality could be the downfall. In a perfect world, kid balls out and stays with the Heat and is a 2nd coming of Shaq/Kareem/Ewing/[NAME ANY HOF CENTER] for the rest of his career.

It was a limited sample size but if he could work with somebody like KAJ or Ewing....he could be a great player.

Anyone who follows him on social media knows how intensely he has worked at his game all summer.

I have no idea what went wrong before last season, but there is nothing physically this kid does not have and he's still learning the game.

Sometimes you have to get your head knocked off to get it on straight, and hopefully his past did just that.

I CAN'T WAIT to see him on the court with the other Heat starters.

Like I've preached all summer, the only thing stopping him is himself.

How about a 30 days off hoppla bet at the end of season (that means before playoffs)that Whiteside averages more boards then Love this season??

Now go run along...you're all TALK.
God your delusinal.

Kevin Love is 26 years old- and has established himself as one of the- if not the best rebounder in the league over the last 5-6 seasons- including averaging OVER 13 rebounds a game THREE TIMES

and you say Whiteside- who played 4 months in the NBA that he is a better rebounder?

Wow....this is why you were so shocked last season when your team fell flat on its face and sucked major ass. You think your players are WAY better than they actually are.

With Kevin Love playing a more perimeter role, combined with the guys having 4 GREAT rebounders (Love, Mozgov, Varejao, Thompson)- Love went down to 10 rebounds a game last season from 12.5. and Whiteside has absolutely ZERO competition on his team for rebounds- since overall- the Heats rebounding is wretched.

Do you think maybe Whiteside could play at LEAST ONE FULL SEASON- before you put him ahead of the best, most consistent rebounder in the entire NBA over the last 5 seasons? The guy averaged 15.2 rebounds one season while Whiteside was playing in some podunk league in Lebanon? LOL

This is why you will be so surprised this year when the Heat are helplessly slaughtered by the Cavs (if the Heat even make it to a playoff series vs. the Cavs)- when in reality- you really shouldnt be.

Or..truth be told, Love is so horrific on D because he often leaves his man to better his rebounding position? Maybe that ups his stats a hair?

And, it's August. I'm not predicting anything as far as series outcomes before the season even starts.

CAVS SHOULD BE HEAVILY FAVORED TODAY VS ANYONE IN THE EAST. SO WHAT? WHO CARES?

What does that have to do with me saying Whiteside is by far a better rebounder then any Cav?
We simply wouldn't get dominated on the boards if he's on the court, and that was the discussion.

That being said, it's a long season that will be full of injuries, ups and downs, and surprises just like every other season.

It's funny, you create a thread about great players under the age of 25 that includes players who never stepped foot in a real NBA game yet, but you want me to wait to judge a player who dominated like we've rarely seen before like Whiteside did in his few months last year.

I wasnt comparing those guys to a 3 time NBA- ALL NBA player that has been the most consistently best rebounder in the entire league, LOL

Again- these Weasel maneuvers of yours take bullshit completely out of context.

i guess youd rather have Derrick Favors than Karl Anthony Towns though- or Reggie Jackson over DeAngelou Russell. unreal.

Love has pluses, but also minuses.
That's why he was pulled for entire 4th qtrs, right?

He's can't defend.

Combine him with Tristan in your small ball lineup, you better score every time because who are you stopping?

As far as the rookies, maybe let them play before we evaluate?
No surprise your on the Buckeye players dick, and he maybe terrific, but I'll wait to see before making crazy lists.
