It's possibly/likely, Kobe's last season. Chances are, the Lakers will be on national t.v. a lot more than just about any other team coming off a 21 win season would.

True but he's said recently he'll wait to see how this season goes. If he does come back it better be for the Tim Duncan discount of 8-10 million per season. The Buss family better play hardball.

I bet its more likely he gets a 1 year, 15 to 20 mil deal just so LA can hit the salary floor.

Still, Clippers/Lakers hasn't been that much a rivalry or it hasn't to me at least.

A hammer doesn't have a rivalry with a nail.

The Clippers have been beating up on the Lakers for the last few Seasons.

But, Historically?

It's actually laughable, or cry-able, depending on which Team you root for.

at least the Clippers are having their "moment" in the sun over the last couple years that should extend into the next couple years.

Between CP, Griffin, Doc and DJ- their is no doubt the Clips are the show to see in town.

just about 10 weeks away from Opening Night.

We will see LeBron/Love/Kyrie -all healthy- all with a year of experience playing together- a coach who has improved by leaps and bounds- a deep, young, talented roster with a great, deep, versatile front court- a backcourt that can shoot the lights out....

Cannot wait for the season.

This is it. Its Championship- or NOTHING for the Cavs this year- and after last years growing year- they have the perfect set of circumstances, talent etc. to get the job done.

Its just so fun to have YOUR team on National TV 25+ times- to be the biggest draw in the entire league- for the national media to revolve around your team.

should be a great year.

68 Win regular season.

Solid predictions. I think 68 wins is on the high side for the Cavs. That's not because of talent but because Blatt will be resting Lebron, Kyrie and Love with regularity. Last year was his first year as HC and I think he made some mistakes on rotations down the regular season stretch because he was concerned about win total. I think he'll realize that he'll continually be on the hot seat for what happens in the playoffs, not the regular season.

Your win totals for the Cavs and Bulls are ridiculous. Lakers IMO are too low if Kobe is healthy enough to play 60 games or so. Everything else I agree with for the most part except I would knock 4-6 wins off your Hawks predictio

I saw that.

I just think it comes down to the Cavs really dont want to pay this guy 17 million a year unless they absolutely have to- and they just signed Kevin Love for 5 years to be their PF. Its a tough spot to be in- especially with the cap going up.

I mean- next year with over 20 teams having room for max players- and Thompson will be one of the only young big men on the market. What does he get as a free agent next year? That is the hard part. Next offseason is so hard to predict but I have to believe he will get offers for at LEAST 15M a year next year just because of the cap and what not.

tough tough situation. Should be interesting to see how it plays out. If he plays on a one year deal and the Cavs then offer him the best deal over the summer he is really going to say No to that just out of spite?
