As expected, Markieff Morris wants nothing to do with the SUNS and is demanding out.

I don't notice twins anymore than anyone else, but they kind of creep me out with the "hive mind" thing they posess.

The Suns fans claimed trading all those players in an attempt to get LA would not cause any issues.

That makes sense that basketball should be the broadcast leader. There is much more content.

--- 30 NBA teams playing 82 games PLUS 16 NBA teams playing at least 4 playoff games

--- 300 Division one Mens NCAA basketball teams playing about 30 games PLUS 96 postseason teams playing at least 1 tourney game in the NIT and march madness

No other sport has as much top end content available with the exception of baseball (if you add far less popular college baseball which is still a niche sport.)

I agree. If somehow CFB and NFL were played at opposite times instead of parallel, football would be getting more exposure. But it's the way it is right now.

Only one player has this resume:

Won a scoring title
Won a blocks title
Won a rebounding title
Won Rookie of the Year
Won Defensive Player of the Year
Won MVP

Happy belated Birthday to the greatest Spur of all time, David Robinson.

50? Wow...time flies.

The Horns are gearing up for that roadie to South Bend.

The folks in Austin are almost ready to trade T-shirts and flipflops for well longsleeve T-shirts and flipflops..cold ass 65 degree winters.

Inbred Okies are pawning whatever crap they own in the doublewide to make sure the cable bill is paid for Saturday disappointments.

So, it's tough to keep the NBA torch burning when the greatest season of all is upon us.

Although, I do come on this board to get away from the free-for-all insanity that is CFB homerism.
NBA fans are polite and intelligent.

The CFB boards will own you and tear you apart in about 30 seconds no matter what you post.
UT still has a football team? What conference do they play in? the WAC? I thought after Colt McCoy and Mack Brown left they disintegrated the program...

it just brings me back to one of my favorite points about college football

everyone has down years. Every team. Even Ohio State had a down year the year after Tressell left- and Fickel had to coach

but no team over the last 15 or so years has had as much consistent success as the Ohio State Buckeyes.

ALWAYS RELEVANT.

Miami Hurricanes? in the tank
FSU?- good now but had been bad for a while
USC? was great- has been in the tank
Bama? been good for al ong while but pre-Saban were nothing
Auburn? off and on
Notre Dame and Michigan? YIKES how they have fallen from grace
Texas? LOL- like the 3rd best team in the Big 12 now. IF THAT
Penn State? HA, other Big ten pretenders Wisconsin and MSU the same way
Florida Gators? TANK about Urban left
Oregon? still title-less

There is no denying that THE Ohio State Buckeyes have been the most consistently good team in college football.

Can't discredit anything they did last year, and they are and always will be a top team BUT, they should start playing better non com games and don't they usually play almost 2/3 of their games at home?

And Oregon is still very good and fun to watch despite being title-less.
Cavs fans should know.

At least during the debate at the Q last night, they didn't have to worry about any banners obstructing the view.

I'd still take Bama's success over Ohio St. given that 3 national titles in a 4-year time span is pretty impressive. Ohio St. has been the most consistent, but I remember after the 2002 national title game, the stigma with Ohio St. was that they couldn't win a BCS bowl game until they finally got over the hump with Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. And yes, I can admit Miami's in the tank. We have an administration that doesn't care, and Golden is probably the worse coach to ever step foot in Coral Gables. Fuck, college football is 3 weeks out, and this is the first time I don't care about the college football season.

I'd say it wasn't on the top of Shalals's list, but she's gone.
How it will rank now under the new admin we will soon find out.

The coaching has to be terrible because the players perform better on Sundays.

I'm not expecting greatness this season by any means, but I think we'll be better then a 6.5 win team.

The changes to the stadium are awesome.

Still, Clippers/Lakers hasn't been that much a rivalry or it hasn't to me at least.
