So, on the topic of the thread. Anyone else see where Porzingis may not be able to play in the summer league because he's hurt?

Knicks can't catch a break.
I dunno- do you think Jackson owed it to Carmelo to tell him it was going to be a long rebuild- or do you think Jackson actually thought he could get marquis free agents to sign there and get back in contention right away?

I mean- Spending 12M a year on Robin Lopez and 8 a year on Afflalo and what? 5 a year on Deron Williams- are ok moves- but I mean- its not like it makes them a playoff team does it? Could the Knicks make the playoffs?

1. Cavs
2. Bulls
3. Hawks
4. Bucks
5. Wizards
6. Heat
7. Pacers
8. Hornets

9. Toronto
10. Brooklyn
11. Detroit
12. Boston
13. Orlando
14. Knicks
15. 76'ers

? I mean- I take the Magic over the Knicks i gotta think....Vucevic, Oladipo, Harris, Gordon, Payton, Hezonja, Frye....i dunno....

Knicks- Melo, Lopez, Affalo, Kraps, ...i mean anything else?

Couple of things:

Let's get this back to the actual thread topic (or keep talking about Wal-Mart). Also, quite a few folks got banned awhile back for posting peoples pictures without their permission. I don't want to see any more of that.

I thought he was already warned?

I said off the bench for 10-15M, that Bird can bring the same type of energy and rebound on par with Tristan.
No way can he keep up with him playing starter minutes.

I said Dragic is a better PG then Kyrie, not a better player.
Toss up based on situation.
I said Dragic is a better fit for the Heat roster and Kyrie better for a James roster.

Fair enough. I could see how Wiggy took that out of context.....because Wiggy.

It's hard to say what Phil might have told him. He narrowed his choices down to the Knicks and Lakers. I doubt Phil would flat out lie to him, but he may have said something like "We're re-building and it's going to take awhile, but not as long as it will take the Lakers." I know 'Melo wasn't happy about drafting Porzingis though.

If 'Melo is healthy, Lopez and Afflalo play well and Porzingis is at least serviceable as a rookie, they could sneak into the playoffs in the East since the East is likely to have at least 1 or 2 teams with losing records in the playoffs. But it's probably more likely that they miss the playoffs.

It's because we don't like you.
you think i like a lot bitter Heat fans that have delusions of grandeur and lash out at any Cleveland fan on here- DEFINITELY not only me- because they are just so unbelievably bitter?

I thought it was hilarious last year after the Dragic trade- better watch out- Heat could give the Cavs a series or at push the series a few games....and then they win 37 games. That try and demonize Dan Gilbert because he did what was best for his team and his fans- while blindly denying and defending the conduct of Arison and Riley that caused LeBron to leave....

you guys just dont like to hear the truth. its not something you are used to hearing- and it pisses you off when you hear it- and you lash out- I dont have to say anything but the truth for you to lose your mind and get personal. Think about that.

YES - THATS THE POINT! Miller took LESS money because him and LeBron are boys and LeBron wanted him here.

They are going to overpay Tristan Thompson some where between 2- and 4 million a year because him and LeBron are boys!!!

WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH WOULD YOU GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO PISS OFF YOUR MEAL TICKET RIGHT BEFORE HE MAKES HIS DECISION ON WHETHER TO STAY OR GO?!!!!!!

say whatever you want about Dan Gilbert- but he knows where his bread is buttered- his franchise value went up by a few hundred million when LeBron returned- he is leveraging his Cavs ownership into his businesses - including riding his good will to getting a casino law passed and owning the one in Cleveland! the freaking stadium is THE Q- Quicken Loans Arena- People ACTUALLY criticize Gilbert for making the best player on the face of the earth happy and getting him to come back! Those people have NO FREAKING CLUE how that effects not only the Cavs but his entire freaking operation from Quicken, to stuff like FatHead, the Cavs, owning the minor league hockey team that plays in the Arena etc....Gilbert does not have a SECOND thought cutting that check for all that luxury tax money because it all just amounts to good advertising in his multitude of businesses.

He took less money because his option was Denver multi year or Cavs w/James because he thought he would PLAY.
He NEVER goes if he knew how it would end up playing out.
He'll stay now because 2.6 is better then nothing which is what his interest level would be.
He didn't mind taking a little bit less because he was able to double dip the last 2 seasons.

And for you to imply, like you know, that they are "boys" , just 1000% proves to me that you just talk out of your ass.
They are nothing but teammates,

And final question on your moronic Gilbert/Arison debate.

Give me a list of ANY players, ever, that said they were choosing the Cavs as their team because of their respect for Gilbert and how the FO does things.

The Heat list for that same question would be quite extensive.

I have never met someone who took the truth so personally

You and the truth shouldn't be used in the same sentence,
Tell us again how Mike and LeBron are "boys".
You're a fucking clown.

That's some slim pickin's right there.

In ALL seriousness, how is Beasley not signed, or even atop that shit list?

Looks like back to Shanghai.

That's a long way to go to watch a game, but I've always been interested in visiting there..

im kinda surprised Kanter never got an offer- he played really well down the stretch

He's a restricted FA. OKC don't see the need in bidding with themselves for him. He will get a decent contract from OKC soon enough.

Yep and teams were being stupid this year like Detroit and Cleveland bidding with themselves for their own RFA.
