Arison/Riley can build a winner the traditional way.
I understand Gilbert has no choice, but that was his choice.

You better win now.

And please, not another 3000 word propaganda post telling us Kyries age.

You don't understand the greatness of Kyrie Irving. At his age......who has done what he has done? He's made the All Star team, been the AS MVP, won the skills challenge, has the greatest handles of all time for like EVER, EVER, EVER, and he's a great team player. He's not a team cancer or coach killer like people have said he is, he can shoot from outside, he can FLY, he can SEE through tall buildings (as well as leap tall buildings in a single bound), he can DO WHATEVER he damn well pleases, and he's a bargain!!!! What's not to like?

The biggest thing I got out of everything that happened over the last year: Miami is a much more likeable team without Lebron. I can actually respect them now!

The only way they can get him is if they do a S&T which would include Bosh. Outside of that you're correct.

I don't really want him. I like the roster as is especially the starting lineup. Just need a shooter and a little more depth for the bench

I agree. We're good basically as is.

IF Bosh is really in play, then I'm sure he's pissed.
I can't see Riley dangling his name in trades unless he's pretty certain there will be a trade.
Hopefully it's a collection of Deng and a couple others.
I sort of am against trading Winslow after all the accolades he's getting.

Miami has a 0% chance to get Aldridge. Big market hype

Like Riley would waste his time flying across the country to meet with someone he has no chance of signing?:bolt:

Riley's a bit of a closer. If Aldridge is willing to meet with him, he must be interested and for Riley to make the trip to L.A., he must think the Heat can fit him in under the cap. Riley getting a meeting definitely makes things interesting.

The report down here is that Riley was already planning to go to L.A. on vacation.

Who, what, or where the meeting came from is still a mystery.
BUT, he's not meeting him for dinner, just to buy him dinner.
Something's up.

Dunleavy got 3 years and 14.4 million. He's no star, but he's a solid role player and that's less than the MLE. I like that re-signing.

Good for Chicago getting Butler to that long term deal. They needed him. It looked in doubt for a little while- but the rule still holds true- no one who has ever been offered a max during their restricted year has turned it down....it simply does not happen.

Telling someone they didn't get it while sporting a Michael Beasley pic. Priceless

Obviously you didn't get it, because it was a reference to his wasted Vegas trip last summer.

As far as Beasley, why wouldn't I?
If you don't know the story, then don't judge the book.
