That's what happens when you are LA or Boston. LA is taking more shit and bc of some rumors I heard about tweets. I think the some Lakers in the FO thought Aldridge would just bow down and say, I adore the Lakers.

I don't think those tweets had anything to do with his decision. I find it funny though that the league told them to remove the tweets after some teams complained. Basketball reasons

Now again, like last summer, while waiting to hear the likely no's from DeAndre and such, they miss out on some of the lower tier guys. I was hoping Ed Davis would be back.

But, he went to the Lakers on a undrafted Summer deal.

If his head is together, he could be your guy at the 5.

I'm hearing the Lakers would consider trading for DLee rather than re-enter talks with Sac for Cousins. I guess it would make sense considering what Sac wants in return. But I can't imagine GS letting DLee go for a discount either.

Wouldn't be a bad stop-gap.

Plus, Sacto has gone all in with that Philly deal.

They are trying to land Rondo and Matthews.

Yep, shreding the roster would've made ZERO sense for them which is why Cousins is still in Sac at the moment and not a Laker.

I hope the deal with Philly works out for Sac. They're due to have a good team.

Well it's not like they can scrap his contract he signed prior to him becoming the MVP and renegotiate. I'm sure there were incentives as a result of the MVP award though. And, he'll get rewarded in his next contract I'm sure.
