Lions (7-2) have a really tough couple of games coming up. Back-to-back next 2 weeks:

@ Arizona
@ New England

Time to find out if we're for real.

I've said it for years. People would never forgive the American Professional Football Association for letting The Jeffs fold in 1928.

I see this as payback for the Bears luring Red Grange away from the Jeffersons in 1925 which eventually led to the franchise's downfall.

Payback's a bitch. There's a lot of happy people in Rochester tonight.

Rollercoaster of a season. Good lord. And good ol' Harbaugh is more preoccupied by what the Steelers are doing than what his team is doing. Keep it real, Johnny.

Just like his younger brother Jim, being a jagoff runs in the family. That's all right. Watching the Steelers stomp a mudhole in John's team last weekend was still awesome. And judging by John's reaction after his team beat Tennessee on Sunday, that hole is still visible in Harbaugh's backside. Steelers still have the best conference record in the division, and the ratbirds are still in last place in the AFCN.

I need eight points to tie and nine to win and I have Darren Sproles and Zach Ertz tonight - and I've had one of my best fantasy weeks of the season(I'm 2-6 because Drew Brees and others have really underachieved, I just traded Jamaal Charles, Julian Edelman and another player to get Peyton Manning(that team had Philip Rivers too I think so I was able to make a deal for him) so I have nothing to lose

I was looking to be in pretty good shape. Until Marshawn Lynch - who my opponent has - decided to score a 40+.

I'm now down 9 with McCoy to go and he has Gano and Benjamin tonight. Odds are slim for me.

PFFT. There is no way anyone is holding a grudge that long over something like football.

my victory last night clinched a playoff spot with 3 weeks to go. hopefully my team will be healthy by the playoffs but I have a couple waiver claims this week that I hope will go through and give me some depth at RB. I clinched because of Mark Sanchez...... so strange. welcome back Tom Brady

I lost my game this week by 1.3 points. I would have clinched if I would have won, Im still in good shape for the playoffs but its a lot closer now.

At times like this I look at my roster and see what I could have done differently. Today I can honestly say it's not my fault. I picked good players but they really dropped the ball. Figuratively and literally.

I started the season 0-2 and game one I made one roster decision that cost me that win and the second loss I lost by 2 pts.. I was that close to leading the league. I'm just happy to make the playoffs this early, it makes player selection less stressful for the next 3'weeks.

What is best is that I'm playing guys in this league that I have played against now for years, 8 maybe? I don't even remember now, there are 6 of us in this 14 team league that have played together for this time. 4 of them won't make it :) they are all eliminated already. So it's me and another guy that will be in. We have known each other for 15 years and used to work together, every year we have a big Christmas lunch in early December, it will be the first playoff week this year. Lunch will be very very satisfying :)
