I hope this incident hastens the process of blowing-up this stupid NCAA rule.

In a capitalist society, an athlete should be able to earn money off of his own likeness and signature and jersey....independent, NOT as a direct wage earning employee of the university.

And if the university wants their cut of the sales from the item, fine.....that would be fair....after all, if the school uniform or logo is being displayed on the item, the school should get their cut.

But for cryin' out loud...entrepreneurship should not be stifled.

Especially when you consider UNT, IN State, and BGSU games account for 587 of his total yards. Against P5 schools he has a whopping 254 yds.

And look at how inflated his numbers are from who they played and the he had to play the entire game. So yes playing only a single series against Troy is something that matters. Oh and Hurley still has a better yds per rush than Coleman.
