If this is a NCAA compliance issue he will be out at least 3 games, However UGA is saying indefinite so who knows.
"I'm obviously very disappointed," Mark Richt said in a school released statement. "The important thing for our team is to turn all our attention toward preparation for Missouri."
yes...
me too, Mark...
very disappointed...
let's just shrug this shit off and concentrate on how we'll handle (the humiliation of losing to) the Tigers.
Chubb isn't chopped liver Georgia still has a heartbeat.

LOL @ teams that can't handle Georgia with Gurley.
He got what he deserved.........These kids who think they are special and entitled because they can carry a football, hit a baseball, or shoot a basketball need to be held accountable for their actions....
They are getting a free ride on education, meals, expenses, and medical care......
And I don't want to hear about the money they make the universities.....They know this coming in....A lot of them get money under the table, cars, kickbacks of all kinds.....
I say kick them out of school and let them try to earn a living in the real world....Give the scholarships to real students who need the help and help them become productive members or our country........
I am fast becoming sick of all sports that represent college and pro...
Give me Little League and school sports anytime...
That is all......
*steps down and kicks soap box*
true dat.
dat said...
how many times has Mark Richt had to say "I'm obviously very disappointed" over the years?
guy's got to be top-10 in that category.
Yeah, but you have to respect Richt. He doesn't fuck around (reminds me of Charlie Strong). Les Miles would leave this to a team vote, rather than have the sack to suspend his star RB. With that being said, this sucks for UGA b/c Gurley is the best RB in the country.
Espn just said this involves receiving money for autographs and memorabilia
Basically the same thing what Manziel was receiving, but nothing happened to him. Gurley will be fine....
I doubt we beat Missouri without him in the lineup though.
