Congrats to all the Caps' fans on here who have suffered time and again - @Kevin12773, @ritari330 in particular who have been on here every series of every year. Still a long way to go. But this is why you stay a fan even when it isn't easy. For moments like this. Enjoy it. The hockey gods know we've earned it.

Wilson and Backstrom likely back for game 1. That will be a boost. Great job by the guys getting it done tonight with half the top 6 forwards not in the lineup.

Going to a shit ton of Hershey games I Was reminding my son all the Hershey guys on the ice tonight. Amazing with all the big names on the roster in years past it's Chaisson, Djoos, Walker, Boyd getting the job done this year.

Finally!

Sports are so great. You just never know what's going to happen. Everyone knows this Caps team is not as good as years past but here they are, finally getting the monkey of their back. Well the Pens/2nd round monkey anyway. This team struggled defensively all year, then they totally turned that around and again few expected that. Nearly every one of us saw the Pens scoring in OT, then stealing the Caps soul once again in a Game 7. But it didn't happen. Finally!

The difference in the series was in years past it was OV's line doing the damage with little help in the other lines.while the pens got scoring from all 4 lines. Tables turned this series and it was opposite and as great as Crosby is cant do it by himself. He knows this morning how OV has felt the past 10 years.
