Just did. First impact was the upper/front third of the shoulder. Glanced off and drove through to the head. Doesn't change the fact the first point of contact was the shoulder.

Chin and shoulder were simultaneous. Head did not "drop a foot" as you said, anywhere in the strides leading up to the hit. Player was also already engaged with another player, so no way to defend against it.
