I would rather have Terrance Pryor than either of them and use the draft to fill the other spot

sorry you are right
Wait. Didn't you always say D Ware was overrated and not very good? Also, that he also never went for the "kill shot"What if DWARE is a FA? He possibly would be a nice rotation guy at this stage. It's been 5 years since he was a great full time player, but a fresh DWARE coming in on 3rd down's would be interesting
I agree in theory and it Could be the guy we added a month ago fills that role. Problem is that with the depth we are putting together on the DL you need to contribute to make the team. Plus we are all saying draft another pass rusher or two. It becomes a numbers game ion the DL. So the guy needs to be more than a goal line/ short yardage 5 play a game guy or he's PS at best. The days of scrubs like Nick Hayden playing big time minutes are gone. I also think with Collins playing so many snaps at the 1 tech it will be even more difficult to fit in that type of guy. So while I would love to get that type of player I think it will be a little tough to find one that will make the team. In retrospect, "Snacks" would have been an amazing fit.
Totally agree. My point was more take our current roster, add at least one and maybe two new pass rushers and tell me who this guy replaces. I'd love for it to happen, but the days of adding a guy just because he can take up space are over. He needs to contribute as more than just another guy to make the team. Plus Collins looks like our 1 tech.Someone in the middle that can stuff the run and take on two blockers will help the edge rushers as well as the LB's
Collins? or Smith?I liked hearing about Collins getting back to his 4.4 forty....
Smith...too much MakersCollins? or Smith?
I'd be willing to bet big boy can roll a 4.95 LOL. 4.4 for Smith is insane an LB. Smith, Lee and Hitchens....on to the DL and DB's....
I'm all for BPA, but I hope that is NOT a LB. I like Hitchens and Wilson and think the depth with Gachkar and Nzeocha (loved him in preseason)... is fine. Durant and Wilber can be let go if we have a cheaper or better option or fight for one spot. I think with Lee, Smith and one of the two kids fighting for a starting spot we are very strong. Now of course there is always Lee's propensity to get injured and Smith's current health issue, but ideally we don't go there in the first couple of rounds.I like Hitchens in the back up everything lb role. Wouldn't mind a high pick on another lb.
