Yep, just the prescription they needed. I still don’t have faith in Driskel. He’s gonna get picked A LOT again this year. Stares down receivers. Hangs the long ball up......... a good secondary is gonna cause trouble. Great running game. Lovin me some Matt Jones! Special teams will be special like they used to be oh so long ago.......

Anyone know how involved fred was/is in kelvins life? I would've thought with all of Fred's success kelvin would have grown up outside of belle glade. Plus fred I'd only 38 so makes me think he didn't necessarily marry kelvins mom when he was born.

I don’t know exactly, but as I remember Fred was around for Kelvin's signing his LOI from Glades Central HS. They show up together in newspaper articles down here in the Palm Beach Post on occasion. I think it’s a good relationship and Fred seems like he was as involved as a professional athlete could be in a kid’s life. From a pure football perspective, there weren’t many places Kelvin could have gone that would have been stronger programs than Glades Central. From every other conceivable perspective, there is no earthly reason for a human being to be raised in Belle Glade, FL other than to be a future sugar cane picker.......

I stand corrected. Yeah, Pops must have kicked in the cash for private school. Regardless, he would have starred at Central as well. If you ever get the chance to go to Belle Glade....................................................... don’t.
