Yes, by saying it's wrong to root against the good people in the world, I'm saying you should root against Mandela and Ghadaffi equally.

Or was it you that brought up Rae Carruth, Leonard Little and Maurice Clarett in the same sentence as Tim Tebow?

Are you saying that Tebow and Carruth are equals in character?

If I'm misunderstanding, please, clarify the below statement.

I was asking you if you feel it's the same to root against Carruth as it is to root against Tebow. Obviously it's not. Does that mean because I'd root against Carruth (not possible because he doesn't play) in the same fashion that I root against Tebow? Of course not. Carruth conspired in killing his pregnant girlfriend. Tebow irritates me not because of himself, but because of the inaccurate portrayal of his performance on the field by local honks.

Obviously it's not black and white. Doesn't mean I don't root against Tebow. Just a different shade of grey.

I've said repeatedly why I want him to fail.

That has nothing to do with Cazic's hatred for Alex Smith.

I've got a feeling it won't be. Tebow didn't give up 45 points. His defense did. That's how it works here. Sadly.

Well, an offense should be able to depend on its defense when the offense gets 10 whole points, I mean that's what Cleveland expects, doesn't it? It worked in Seattle.

Gotcha.

This still seems wrong. You cheer against Tebow to put others in their place? Others who are likely just fans who really don't know what they're talking about. Or is it "football people" talking up Tebow, because whenever I hear "football people" talk about him they are criticizing his mechanics.

The big difference between Carruth and Tebow is not that one is a bad person and the other a good person. To me, it's that Carruth had direct influence on why he is disliked. I don't believe Tebow is paying people to talk him up. He's a bystander to his hype.

Well, his defense didn't give up 45. Tebow himself gave up 14 with the Strip sack/FR/TD by Avril, and the 100 yard pick 6 to Houston.

So it's the same to root against people regardless of their character? So it is just as acceptable to root against someone like Nelson Mandela as it would be Ghadaffi?

If Mandela or Ghadaffi were QBing against the 9ers, then yes, it wouldn't matter to me.

Good point. What did he finish with today...

I know you knew I was being sarcastic based upon context, but just realized that I borrowed something from another message board that I'm not sure is universal or not. Typing something in blue means you are saying it sarcastically. Like, Tebow scored 14 for Detroit and 10 for Denver and thus the score really was 31-24. In fact, since one of the INTs were caught in the endzone, that should count as Denver and Detroit points. 31-31 and you know how Tebow is in overtime. (No, I am not explaining what sarcasm is, just wanted to say something else sarcastically.)
