...per my sources in Orange County.

Could be done within hours.

Interesting that he spurned the Giants.

Too bad he didn't sign with the Padres and we could pretend to be cute and clever calling him "Big-Time Timmy Jim."

Total snub to the Giants that he turned down their minor-league deal to be a bully-arm in favor of an MLB deal with the Angels to be a starter.

Clearly shows that he hates the Giants.

Why would you say that? All I said is "he spurned the Giants" (fact) and now you're saying "he hates the Giants." :noidea:

If you are saying the Bill Gates "spurned McDonalds" by not working for them at $10 an hour, than OK...

Although I am not sure why that situation would be deemed "interesting".

The Giants wanted him back.

He said no.

Yes, that's, at the very least, "interesting."

You can pretend like it's just another day but Tim Lincecum would rather not be a Giant any longer.

I'm sorry if that angers you, but I do understand why it would.

Except that its not. The Giants were upfront with him in telling him that the only spot they would potentially have with him would be in the pen. Timmy has been upfront in saying that he wants an opportunity to start. He chose the Angels based on that opportunity.

When reached for comment about "snubbing" the Giants for the Angels, Lincecum was quoted as saying:

"My only regret is the Angels play the Padres a lot fewer times, so it's going to hurt my chances for a third no-hitter"

He wanted out.

Have you watched him over the last 4 years or so? I mean, besides his no-hitters against the Pads? The bolded is still in question. Last season, he was throwing 84 MPH 4-seamers. Time will tell.

That got lucky and swept the M's, two nights of blown games by the pen doesn't mean squat.....
They got swept at home to the shittiest team in the division. Their questionable closer got blown up twice in a row and they gave Felix a total of 2 hits in the finale and that doesn't mean squat?
