I wanna know why when jim johnson blows saves he always says "well i threw the ball well, some balls just got thru"...sorry idiot, u walked a batter after giving up a hit...thats not throwing the ball well unless u wanted think walking people in the 9th inning of a 1-run game is throwing well...

and buck says "thats why we trust him, he kept competing and didnt give in"...

That's just Buck defending his pitcher. JJ will always be Buck's closer this year. Nothing is going to change at this point. Unfortunately, this is not the JJ from last year. He just doesn't seem to have control of his sinker, walks too many batters for a closer and his stuff just isn't that great if the sinker is not being effective and swung at by opposing batters. My confidence level when he comes in is say, far, far less than when O'Day comes in the game.
