No surprise his stuff sucks. Baffles me how is era was under 2 in Baltimore

don't know what the problem is, he was lights out in Baltimore. he was a shutdown reliever and was wanted by multiple teams. hopefully they figure out what his issue is before next season

Seriously Koji needs to come down with an "injury" so we can actually replace him with a real MLB pitcher. The guy is a complete waste of a roster spot.

what "real MLB" pitcher?

His pitch is not cutting down. I have noticed it since he got here plus he does not throw hard enough. I actually think Yoshi has more movement on his pitches

Been trying to tell you, man. Japanese pitchers have a short shelf life.

That's what baffles me me. How was he so dominant with Baltimore? It's not just our park he sucks in. Gonzo has been a much better acquisition in my opinion.

so you are claiming that he's done as a pitcher? i don't think so. he threw 47 innings with Baltimore gave up 25 hits and 9 ER's. it looks like there's some mechanical issue. that makes more sense than your claim

I'd rather see Oliver on the mound than Koji. I can't believe I just said that.

And why didn't Wash PH Murphy for Endy there?

I think that is a great observation. His pitches don't have the same bite on them as when he first came over. The man was beastly at striking out guys. He most definitely does have a strike out pitch.

he's also exceed his previous total innings by more than 20 innings so he could have a tired arm

he has only thrown around 43 innings in his previous season so he's gone over 20 innings more than he has ever pitched so it could be a tired arm

Perhaps as someone on this site alluded to that maybe Koji is struggling because he is pitching in meaningful games. I just think he location issues as in up in the strike zone. Guess we will have to see what happens in the off season

Why is a guy who is 6-16 lifetime vs Fister with 2 homeruns on the bench tonite? Does Wash not know this? Playing Endy over Murphy makes no sense on any level. Wash needs to answer this one.

Hey Ginger I have noticed that his sinker/cutter just is not coming down and his pitches stay up in the middle of the plate, whether this is due to a tired arm or maybe meaningful game situations its hard to say. Lost faith in him at least this year well over a month ago
