Kendrick is now winless in is last 16 starts. Rollins now tied with Ashburn for 2nd on all time Phillies hits list. Ruf may not get a start in recent call up. Could be used as a pinch hitter. Phillies will play the next 18 days in a row so they will have to call up a pitcher by Friday. Do they send Ruf back to minors or somebody else to make room?

Brignac will likely go down. I'm bored with Kendrick. Maybe we should give David Buchanan a look.

I would be OK with that. But I still think Smith would be a better option. Heck. they can bring up anyone at this point just to see how they fit.The other option would be Amaro digging some older pitcher out of the scrap heat and signing him. That is scary!
