He's not high reward at all, really. The Warriors REALLY needed him after Durant got hurt and he gave them nothing.

It can be if he is solid, like I said, if he gets near 2 years ago form the Lakers will take that all day for 3M. They will take 18 and 8 all day from a guy they are paying $3M. It really isnt crazy either considering he averaged 16 and 8 playing 25 mins on GS.

How many guys in the league are averaging 16 and 8 and get paid $3M...nobody

Your Seattle butthurt takes are kind of funny

No butthurt at all. Just reminding the third world city that they have as many champions since they were stolen from has since 2008.

They will make it work, my question is for how long. It's easy to have a honeymoon period when you are just scoring everyone out of the building. But after 1.5 seasons of each one thinking "if he would have given me the ball I'd have won the game" and if a championship isn't won (which it won't be), we will be sitting here talking about the dysfunction going on in Houston as HOU tries to unload one of them.

Unless Harden isn't back next year.

Yeah, in the regular season, they should be able to win a lot of games just off of the talent of Westbrook and Harden alone.

But in the playoffs, against better teams who are concentrating only on the Rockets...I can't see them getting out of the 2nd round and maybe not even the first round.

lol

You don't understand what the term "high reward, no risk" means?

It mean there is the potential for high reward and there is literally no risk involved.

He averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists while playing 26 minutes per game. If he just does that, it will be a plus for the Lakers. If he performs better, then it's an even bigger plus.

If it turns out that he has nothing left and/or reverts back to the old Boogie as far as his attitude...they can cut him loose and it only cost them $3.5 million.

Having Boogie in that locker room is a helluva gamble.

I'm not too worried about his attitude.

He is 28 years old, so this is his last shot at a big contract. I expect that he'll be on his best behavior.

From what has been reported, he has slimmed down and says that his quad injury that he suffered in the playoffs is 100% healed.

Because of the Achilles, I don't think he'll ever get back to what he was before the Achilles. But if he can be 80-90% of what he was before, he will still be one of the better bigs in the league.
