Iggy was taken with the 115th pick. From then on... you're just drifting further and further away from the top 100 rookies taken.

Yes, but the draft is always very close to the consensus top big boards. The top 100 prospects were taken. These writers can only go by the same stuff everyone else saw. There's not going to be any later guys in there. None of them have played yet.

Fitts - Best chance, IMO. We need edge rushers to step up now and many experts had no clue why he dropped so far.

Wims - Meh... it'd take injuries. He's a project. Maybe year 2.

I think he might miss a couple of games. No reason to believe he'll suffer some big injury, though. He was healthy for 13 of 16 last year (one miss was due to suspension). 4 of his 6 seasons he's played in full or close to it. This team has to be due for some variance when it comes to injuries.

They should have 3. Even some teams with some horrible, imo, drafts got 3; though I think the Bears did very well in this draft overall.

I usually refer to this time of year for the NFL as the stupid season. Of course I'm one of the key contributors to the stupidity, but what the heck, it's all in good fun.
