The day they have Justin Bieber perform halftime at the Super Bowl, is the day that we all stop watching Superbowl halftime shows.

That day came and went many years ago at our annual SB party.

Jesus. What's with all the hate? He's a much better choice than rolling out a bunch of has-beens in wheelchairs performing horrible renditions of 40 year old hits. I don't like pop but the guy's a great performer. Maybe we'll actually see some energy for the halftime show for a change.

The real problem is the complete shit that is being produced and passed off as music today. The only credible stuff I can think of is underground and people will either not know what it is (so there fore pass prejudgment) or the music itself will be offensive to the target audience.

This leaves the NFL with few options and all of them seem to be from an era a long time ago before the music was died.

As long as it is an American band/artist. This is one thing I am very nationalistic about. Football is still played by Americans (vast majority) and is an Ameican thing. The Super Bowl is ours. It's almost an American holiday. I get pissed when it isn't an American band for some reason. I was very salty when they were in Detroit and brough Paul McCartney out. F that noise, Detroit is an American music city!
