Wildcard if they figure out how to score points other than FG's.

Lombardi blows worse than the OL.

All receiving options need to stand in front of a juggs machine all week. Way too many drops.

Ugly. Not a fan of the Raiola block on the last play. If they're going to suck, release the guy and move on.

The only coach we have worth a dam, to me, is Austin. Offense last year, wasn't the problem. The turnovers were. We countered by signing a WR and drafting a TE to fit last years offense, and then changing said offense to fit everyone's weaknesses.

I missed that. Had already turned it. Right after the last debacle FG/TD thingy...

I defended his blocking calls last year. Sure has reverted back to guy who has his best hits after the fact or dirty. Not sure how much is on his calls, but his blocking is not worth $1 this year. Certainly not worth the bargain I thought it was in the offseason.

Thoughts after the Lions/Patriots game..........

Cons:

Our offensive line is still terrible.

Our WR and TE's can't catch the ball.

Corey Fuller is so bad, he won't even get two drops, because both balls went directly between his arms somehow without touching him.

Ebron is still developing and still worthless.

Lombardi is making me miss Scott Linehan more and more each week. He has taken a top 5 offense, that added Golden Tate and Ebron and turned it into an embarrassment.

Pro's

Golden Tate showed up for the game.

Ebron actually caught a pass over 10 yards and it only took a couple tries.

NE took the foot off the gas in the 2nd half or they really could have put up a crooked number.

Detroit almost reached double digits in points.

We don't have to play NE again this year.

The fans who call into sports radio stations really seem to know what they are talking about and they aren't dense after all.

Ansah and Mosely also went dirty at the end. And Gosder Jr. (Lucas)

Id be fine with Mosely and Dom both being cut.

There's a New Jim but its the SOL. His calm presence hasn't really changed anything.

No post season for us. We'll need 11 and Chicago will beat us once... we might as well not even play the last one. I knew they'd put some points on the board. They're a great offense and that quick hitting 5 wide stuff exposes the D where it's weakest... and exposing weaknesses is hoodie's specialty. I don't even know where to start with the offense. There are no excuses for them to not have scored 4 TDs today. The Pats D can be had. Dropped passes, misfires, stupid decision making and play calling... a complete dumpster fire. I just hope they don't ruin Thanksgiving again.

I actually had thoughts after this one. Finally saw game action.

Wildcard was truly my only thought. I had no intentions of Ebron bashing. I knew it would be covered at some point.
I can't for the life of me figure out what Lombardi's plan of attack is? He seems to change it mid stride and usually to the advantage of the opponent.

A loss on T-day would pretty much end it. We would need to run the table after that and I don't see that happening. Need to find a way to come out with a win and hopefully fix some things in the following 10 days.

I would not say no reason to play the last game. Packers could not deal with the pressure from us early. No reason to think we can't beat them again. Any team can win any day. Vikes kept it close today. I do feel they are playing better football than us. IMO any loss in next four games and you are correct. They have no business in playoffs.

I would trade Ebron and Lombardi to the Cowboys for Scott Linehan back. The one year the Lions have a solid defense -- they have a new OC who has turned our offense into a damn joke.

They could have Pettigrew, who we got for Roy Williams, too!!!

I would not say 4 in a row, but certainly 3. Gotta win the home games and get to 10. 10 may still be good enough. Unfortunately, what would be the sense in going to the playoffs with this offense?

We don't want to trade away both of our 1st round pick TE's. How would we be able to replace all that production.

Not sure that would solve everything. Remember with Linehan he let Matt play freely and yes we scored. He also put the defense in bad positions often too.

This was truly the only loss were the D did not keep them in it and give a chance for a W. The Carolina game got away late and IMO was not on the defense, but the score would say otherwise.

Stafford was turning into a pick six machine under Linehan. He was a defense killer. We need something in between Linehan and the heaping pile of dog crap we have now.
