So I have been banned I guess on the Eagles Board. I no longer have post rights there.

Just so you know, I have posted on here, or before on kffl for over a decade. I have been an Eagles fan for double that amount of time. You can read my posts. I enjoy a good give and take from people with different opinions, but I am always respectful and do my best to stick on topic.

Things changed for me with the Kelly firing and the Pederson hiring. I think its complete idiocy on the Eagles part. Kelly had a winning record and Pederson comes along and thinks its a good idea to run the clock out in a playoff game when your down two scores. Now this week, they blow over $178M guaranteed on mediocre players.

So I say these things on the board and next thing you know I am suspended. After ten years. I guess free speech doesn't apply there. I thought Eagles fans were supposed to be tough, but I guess those fans aren't on that board. No big deal really, I can simply create a new ID or 2 or 3. Better yet, I can find better things to do with my time.

You're correct. Free speech doesn't apply here.

Based on your posting on that board, more than one poster is convinced you're a fan of a divisional rival posing as an Eagles fan.

Eagles fans have it tough. Sam Bradford at QB. Doug Pederson as Head Coach. They are understandably happy to have the team spend one hundred and seventy eight million guaranteed freaking dollars. It gives them a smattering of hope (possibly even more if any of these guys had a decent resume).

So they don't want or need a guy raining on their day in the sun. It stands in all likelihood to be a long and arduous season, and its not hard to imagine me checking in every few weeks to heckle them...

So as a bit of mercy, I really do need to lay off a little. I know I am factually correct in everything I post, but it is a bit cruel.

I actually agree with the Bradford signing. I think he still has potential and will be rooting for him. Its tough though as they are now teaching him a brand new offense for the umpteenth year is a row. And its really a pretty stale system with a couple of guys that are hardly innovators running the show.

I would have been more optimistic if they were keeping Bradford to have them keep Kelly as well. It means alot to a QB to have reps in the same system for a second year in a row, and while there is disagreement on Kelly's system, the fact is that every QB who has executed in it has put up career best numbers in his system. Its a QB friendly system for sure.

I did expect they would go with a rookie first rounder paired with Daniel, but I guess they must have wargamed it and came to the conclusion they didn't like what they would find there at number 8. Otherwise there would be no reason to sign both Daniel and Bradford. You don't give two QBs a total of $34M guaranteed and then draft a rookie.
