Because we actually stopped a mobile QB and the zone read.

I was pretty surprised.

You can't say that's not progress. Turnovers keep rearing their ugly head and situational playcalling on offense is still horrendus.

Reed tried to stiff arm instead of keeping both arms wrapped around the ball and driving his legs.

Bell inexplicably calls a fair catch and then proceeds to look up field before he has the ball secured as if he was looking where to run.

Abdullah is good for one muffed punt per game, and up until yesterday he had the good fortune of not having anyone in the vicinity when he muffed it. The kid just flat out cannot catch the ball. When he muffs it, it's the same exact thing every time, the ball hits off his chest and he tries to trap it against his body but it's too late and the ball is bouncing away from him.

How many snaps from center did Colter take? I don't think NW ran near enough zone read.
