Calling it “a hard decision,” Nick Holman took to Twitter Wednesday night to announce that he has decided to transfer out of the Bulls football program and “pursue other opportunities” elsewhere. The linebacker gave no specific reason for his decision to transfer.
Barring something unforeseen, Holman would be forced t sit out the 2016 season if he moves on to another FBS program. He’d then have two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning in 2017.
There were only 3 guys who would've went this year (RB Alvin Kamara, CB Cam Sutton & LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin), and all are returning for the Senior year. But yeah, kinda weird.Yo Tennessee, WTF??
Troy confirmed in a press release that Trojans football player Nathan Harris has passed away due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident earlier Saturday. Harris was just 19 years old.
Other than the accident occurred in Gulf Shores, Ala., no details were made available.

Back in February, Delshawn McClellon announced on Instagram that he had decided totransfer out of the Utah football program. Fast-forward two months and another player from the same positional group has taken to social media to announce a change, with Monte Seabrook confirming on his personal Twitter account that he too is transferring from the Utes.
It’s believed Seabrook’s decision was triggered by a desire for a better opportunity at playing time.
On Twitter Sunday afternoon, Benkert confirmed that he will be enrolling at Virginia and continuing his collegiate playing career with the Cavaliers. Beckert also acknowledged his decision in a text message to 247Sports.com.
Citing unnamed sources, al.com is reporting that Karl Dunbar is expected to be hired as the Tide’s new defensive line coach. Dunbar would replace Bo Davis, who “resigned” Friday amidst allegations of potential NCAA violations.
Dunbar served as Nick Saban‘s strength & conditioning coach at LSU from 2001-02, and then returned to Baton Rouge as Les Miles‘ line coach in 2005 after spending two years (2003-04) in the same position at Oklahoma State.
