LB Nick Holman makes ‘hard decision’ to transfer from USF
Calling it “a hard decision,” Nick Holman took to Twitter Wednesday night to announce that he has decided to transfer out of the Bulls football program and “pursue other opportunities” elsewhere. The linebacker gave no specific reason for his decision to transfer.

Barring something unforeseen, Holman would be forced t sit out the 2016 season if he moves on to another FBS program. He’d then have two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning in 2017.

Yo Tennessee, WTF??

There were only 3 guys who would've went this year (RB Alvin Kamara, CB Cam Sutton & LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin), and all are returning for the Senior year. But yeah, kinda weird.

We'll have at least 4 taken next year (assuming RB Jalen Hurd leaves), with a few other Juniors who could potentially go.

Penn State confirms dismissal of DT Kamonte Carter
Earlier today, 247Sports.com reported that Kamonte Carter had been dismissed from the Nittany Lions for violating unspecified team rules. A short while later, the football program confirmed the development.

And, according to the school, the redshirt freshman defensive tackle was on the receiving end of James Franklin‘s boot more than a week ago.

Monte Seabrook becomes second Utes receiver to transfer this year
Back in February, Delshawn McClellon announced on Instagram that he had decided totransfer out of the Utah football program. Fast-forward two months and another player from the same positional group has taken to social media to announce a change, with Monte Seabrook confirming on his personal Twitter account that he too is transferring from the Utes.

It’s believed Seabrook’s decision was triggered by a desire for a better opportunity at playing time.

Veteran NFL assistant reportedly to fill Alabama’s coaching vacancy
Citing unnamed sources, al.com is reporting that Karl Dunbar is expected to be hired as the Tide’s new defensive line coach. Dunbar would replace Bo Davis, who “resigned” Friday amidst allegations of potential NCAA violations.

Dunbar served as Nick Saban‘s strength & conditioning coach at LSU from 2001-02, and then returned to Baton Rouge as Les Miles‘ line coach in 2005 after spending two years (2003-04) in the same position at Oklahoma State.
