im pretty sure the Irish arent the only ones that have academic issues. think of powerful sport schools like carolina duke syracuse. im sure its going on in those schools. the irish just tell it up front to play it safe

It's going on everywhere including ND and always has been. What ND is doing is a carefully thought out strategy of trying to claim they're above it all and "we'll handle it in house". They're as dirty as anyone and what we know right now is chicken shit compared to what's gone on. ND wants to throw a blanket over this and keep the NCAA out and get this out of the news. Their strategy is probably a pretty good one but I doubt they can contain the smoke forever.

Again, Michigan State gets screwed over by a cheating school. First it was Ohio State in 2011 keeping us out of the Rose Bowl. Now Notre Dame keeping us out of the National Title game last yer.
