So quick cursory research on the posted all decade teams by way of win shares per 48.

'10 sample size is too small
'60 that stat doesn't exist
'70 that stat only goes through half the decade (and I don't recognize half of them. :L I know.)

So that leaves only '80, '90, and '00

'90 is 1.0575. Intersetingly if you sub David Robinson(.2502) for Dream(.1767), it jumps to 1.1513 and with that sub not one player would be under.2053 (Malone).

'80 is .7822 but it is missing Isiah as this stat is not available for him.:noidea: But even if it were higher than MJ's :pound: who has the highest at .2505, the '80 team wouldn't catch the '90 team.

'00 is .8366 but again a players number is missing (Iverson :noidea:). But again his would have to be as high as MJ's:lol: for the '00 team to catch the '90 team.

There you have it. Of the three, according to win shares per 48 it is the '90 team and it ain't even close.

And the best team in the 90s won 6 titles (6-0 i'll add) and it was all done by 1 guy.

FYI :lou:

Pippen was 31 during the 1995 season. Charles was 32. Boo firkin hoo. Keep looking for anything. LOL

Your "individual"/all decade that's who. The clown who made up these teams we are talking about.

Really? Traditional positions are mentioned? Because anyone who knows anything about basketball can tell this is the all-star format: Three front court, two backcourt.

Was Magic a SG? Is Westbrook? Was Bill Russell a PF?

Well done little fella, you've proven you don't know shit!

Hey Jeffy.. See the guys in the middle where all the teams are listed? Those are the Small forwards. All of them actually played the position SF, except for Charles who was a PF. Why? Because he wasn't as quick as guys like Bird, Lebron, Dr. J, and even Pippen.

Dude, I am a Bulls homer. I admit it. But having Pip on as an all around over Barkley isn't born out by the stat of win shares. Chuck is No. 16. Pip? 40. I wish it wasn't so but, it is what it is.

How often did Russell play PF? Or Magic/Westbrook play SG?

I just seem to be repeating myself now.

We're basing who's better by YouTube videos now?!?

OK!

Wow in a Wizards video. You are on a roll waterboy.

I simply googled Pippen Barkley who were both in their low 30's..

How much basketball did you say you played?

Oh I know Charles was good. He just doesn't belong on any team as a 3. He can't guard those SF's on that list. Not even close. If you are gonna roll against those teams, you better have a SF that can play D. You would get plenty of scoring elsewhere and yeah Pipp would add his 15/game.

No?

Not much thank you. Played in high school though. Mostly volleyball and field hockey but thanks for asking.

Nice to see you showing a lot of personal interest in my life. Are you interested in knowing what type of tampons I use too?

Well I do agree that a more interesting list would be legit 1-5s...

IMO.. If You want to see individual accomplishments.. Put Barkley or Malone on the Bulls and see what kind of numbers they put up.

Put Pippen on the west coast and see how much he scores. Will he hit all the big shots like MJ did?? No but who has?

I played against 4 NBA players in high school. 3 of these NBA players were 1st rounders and ON the same team - 1991/92 Proviso East. Michael Finley, Donnie Boyce, Sherrell Ford. All 6'8-6'10 with afros.

Scary. :behindsofa: Best HS team ever assembled.

We do have a glimpse of Pip as "the man" during his prime. The year MJ played baseball. 22/8.7/5.6. Career highs in scoring and total rebounds.

Egghead cried about Kukoc taking the last shot too - the only thing I've ever hated about Pippen. Loved it when Tony hit that shot!

But he helped get the Bulls game 7 vs. the Knicks who took Houston 7 games in the Finals.

The video I posted has Dickie Simpkins starting at PF and was guarding Barkley at first in 95.

I'd give anything to see those practices of Pipp and MJ going one-on-one before MJ's comeback in 96.
