The guy in CBS league who drafted Kershaw(auto pick) said he is really willing to trade him(if the current lopsided trade is vetoed).

So with Davis on my bench, is it bad to offer Lester and Encarnacion for him? Maybe I can throw in a u hitter on his side to fill that spot until Davis returns(which is April 7). If I do this deal I would have both Kershaw and Price on my team.

I'm gonna first see if Encarnacion, Heyward, and Ryu for him and Carter would do first.

I'd offer the first deal if you offer anything at all. Honestly, I could see Ryu doing just as good as Lester. I'm not sold on Lester being elite. I also feel like if you offer a weak deal early on, then the owner will "dig in" on over estimating the value of his players.

Well the guy I'm dealing with as an idiot in the first place for not thinking when he offered Kershaw and Cespedes for Beltre and then told people in the league to vote against the trade. It seems the trade got vetoed because its no longer pending. Oddly I got no alert from CBS on it.

I just am a little concerned by dealing Lester and Encarnacion that should I take a hit on hitting with no elite OFs or anything other than Rizzo I won't have a solid pitcher to deal for a hitter unless I deal Price and that would mean once again having one great pitcher and a bunch of number 2s. Its a risk but Kershaw and Price week 1 could combine for 100 so I'm debating on it.

Well I'm getting no reponse on the proposal so I guess he doesn't like it. My guess is he wants hitting. So I may just try to do Encarnacion, Gomez, and Lester for Kershaw and Bautista.

I'd rather have Gomez than Bautista. This is a categories league, right? Why not just go with EE and Lester for Kershaw?

No this is points. This is the CBS league I'm in(the main one with those I played with).

I did that he has not responded. I didn't mention but before I entertained the thought on going after Kershaw he had sent me a offer of Chapman and Bautista for Encarnacion and Heyward. Of course I just ignored that offer. So I know he wants two hitters. I thought of Heyward instead of Gomez but I feel that would be too weak given Heyward's draft range.

apparently some people thought I gave up too much. It went through though but thats what it takes to get someone like Kershaw. he could regress but with Price on the same team I don't think its going to hurt me and someone on the dodgers would step up if he did regress such as Ryu or McCarthy. NTM inter-league play consists of the NL and AL West divisions playing each other, two of the three best pitcher friendly divisions and most of my pitchers other than Price and Wacha are from those. I would think someone out of Ryu, Richards, Shoemaker, and McCarthy has a big year.
