If you are just going for looks not 4wheeling then maybe a 1.5" coilover up front and rear shackles, or maybe an add-a-leaf. You aren't pushing the suspension geometry (if bigger look at a differential drop kit. Cuts clearance which doesn't seem like a need for you, and keeps the CV joints lined up better). There you aren't messing with your handling, more vibration issues much and can make up some good ground on your height with tires still.

Also going with over 2 inches on a suspension lift with a Tacoma, I think you would need new shocks as well as that's where you really start messing with the dynamics of your drive.

Been looking at a little lift kit for my jeep for when it's no longer the daily driver. We take it out to Moab and Ouray every year, and while it is amazingly capable stock, there are some area's the clearance isn't where I quite want it.
