Several coaches have turned around programs. Not many finish. Thats what separates good coaches from elite coaches. Harbaugh isn't new to the game. He's been around quite a while now and has yet to finish. Struggles vs quality opponents. His record last year vs ranked opponents alone was awful. He lost to a utah team. Who were thrashed by USC with an interim coach. The MSU game was as big a fail as I've seen. And he was decimated by OSU. Until Harbaugh shows he can win the big one I cant call him elite. I also think his antics and ego nail Michigan big time. He's playing with fire and will be burned book it

Put Herman in Harbaughs position at stanford. He not only produces the same results. But most likely finishes. Unlike Harbaugh Herman gets his team up for the big games and the most out of his players. You could argue Chip Kelly did the same thing for Oregon at A higher level than Harbaugh as well. Sorry Ralph Harbs doesnt impress me . Pete Carrol didn't just turn around an awful USC team he finished. Don't forget how bad SC was before Carrol

Herman has no experience coaching in a big Time conference as the head man. An yes I would argue chip Kelly is a good coach but he didn't inherit the shitstorm Harbaugh did. Neither did Carrol. USC was no where close to how bad the tree's were. Quite lying to yourself.

Carrol inherited a very bad trojan team. I could run down a list of coaches who have turned programs around. The list of coaches who finish is another story. Not impressed with herbs. And it really doesnt matter. He's going to bury Michigan

1) what Carroll inherited was no where near the shitstorm Harbaugh inherited at stanford

2) no chance Harbaugh buries Meatchicken, he loves them and won't let them go to hell.
