i read the first book before I saw season one

ditto for book two (which was painful to slog through)

but saw season three first

They got away from the books a little in #2 but there is stuff the leave out in #3 as well just because there is to much going on.

I don't read for visual/pineal stimulation. I read for mental stimulation and because I like it. It keeps people creative and allows you to create the words you are reading into a world in your mind. Movies they tell you what to think its mindless.

Haha agree, but you had been told what the matrix looked like, what Neo looked like, who the architect was etc.

So yes you were thinking but on a low level compared to if you had to create the whole experience/world in your head.

i was really young when the neverending story came out. it inspired me to put the book down and watch the movie.
