Hall of Fame 38 Finalist that don't include the 2020 class nominees

The 15 chosen Jan. 8 will comprise the Centennial Class. The Centennial Class will be formally enshrined in the Hall of Fame on Sept. 16-19, as part of the 100th-anniversary celebration. That is all in addition to the Hall of Fame Class of 2020 that will be chosen and announced the day before Super Bowl LIV in Miami, and those five modern-era selections will be enshrined in August.

The finalists for the Centennial Class are:

Coaches (two will be chosen for Centennial Class):

Cowher (Steelers, '05), Flores (two with Raiders, '80 and '83), Holmgren (Packers, '96), Johnson (two with Cowboys, '92 and '93) and Vermeil (Rams, '99) all won Super Bowls.

Went to playoffs 10 times, only failed to win a playoff game only twice of them

Won his division 8 times

His qbs were Tomczak, O'Donnell, Kordell, Maddox, and Big Ben for 3 years,

I'm sure some people will have issues with Cowher getting in, but the Steelers won the most games in the NFL during the 15 seasons he coached them.

Getting to all those championship games with Kordell Stewart and Neil O'Donnell counts for something in itself.
