I don’t remember anything about S1. Really, the only thing I remember was the HORRIBLE casting.

I doubt I will bother with S2 of this show. I have no interest in rewatching S1.

I'm honestly shocked it made it to Season 2. Season 1 was good but my understanding is that it was wildly expensive and didn't do that great.

I agree that the casting was an issue with season 1. It'll be interesting to see if they learned their lesson in Season 2.

I really enjoyed the books, but I thought S1 was just ok. I'll watch a few episodes of season 2 to see how they handle the Aiel and the seanchan, but the show is on a short leash for me.

This show remains my all time be careful what you wish for. I love the books and have always wanted a show, I can not think of a show that I have hated more than this one. I am positive that I hate it more because I had such high hopes and expectation, but this one really sucked. Brandon Sanderson was involved, as he finished the series I expected so much more.

The show seems to gone darker than the books this season by quite a bit. Not sure how I feel about it overall though.

Excelent casting.

Elaida becomes the primary antagonist for one of our main characters, and shohreh has the gravitas to pull off that role really well.

The role isnt the same as avasarala, but it requires the same sense of being steel underneath.
