The Odyssey (2026)

Just announced that Christopher Nolan's next film will be an adaptation of the Greek epic poem The Odyssey by Homer. It will star Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, and Charlize Theron, and be released on Friday, July 17, 2026.

He routinely picks stories I'm interested in... Dunkirk and Oppenheimer are great topics that I never thought could be blockbusters. His movies have gotten more and more portentous of late, but they're still great and treat the subjects with respect. So I expect something good.

His best is still Memento, for my money.
