Tenet, Christopher Nolan's new film, will be released on Friday, July 17, 2020.

It will star John David Washington and Robert Pattinson, who is also the new Batman, somewhat amusing given that Christopher Nolan got famous directing Batman films.

Very little has been publicly revealed about this spy film, though it is known that it has an enormous production budget of well over $200 million.

The teaser trailer for Tenet has only been officially released in theaters, not online, but the French version of the teaser trailer has leaked nevertheless:

Nolan was pretty great playing with our conception / perception of time in three movies already, Interstellar, Memento and Inception. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one.

I’m the one who didn’t go totally gaga for Inception.

Memento wasn’t really timey wimey. It was just shown in reverse. GREAT movie though...

Interstellar was very good on initial viewing. But the concept didn’t stick with me the way I thought it would walking out of the theater.


But I am being overly critical. All these movies were still well above average, and if this one falls somewhere in that spectrum, it will be worthwhile.

Wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back again in another two weeks. Maybe it's time that Christopher Nolan just accept that it's not going to come out anytime soon instead of continuing to pressure the studio to force a release this summer?
