Anyone notice on imdb that they show a plot for episode 5.1?


"Rick and the group is heading to Washington DC, where they meet new danger and a new enemy. Once again, Rick must do whatever it takes to keep the rest of the group safe."


Looks like Negan may be introduced next season. That would be excellent.

Wow, that sucks (that that plot is there, not what the plot is). However, much of IMDB is community written (like Wiki) so that may have been written by a comic reader.

That is what I expect 5.1 to be, though. I expect them to either meet up with Abe's group and then head to Fort Benning or to meet up with them at Fort Benning. Eugene tells his tale after Benning and the group heads off to save the world.

I thought it was odd. There are no plot summaries for the second half of season 4. Wishful thinking on someone's part for season 5 I guess.

Assuming that is a real plot summary, though, who is the "new enemy"?

I have a hard time believing they are going to introduce Negan already. I am thinking Gregory or (I am brain farting on the leader of Alexandria). Negan I think will be 5.9(ish) or 6.1.

Maybe they will start Jesus out as a "bad guy". If our group had met Daryl if he was in a different group, we would look at him as a "bad guy" (much like Martinez)...

Also, will they refer to Jesus as "Jesus" or avoid that issue all together and call him "Paul" instead?

So Hershel officially took Ty's seat in the final prison battle. While I wanted Hershel to fulfill Dale's spot against the Hunters, having him lose his head to the Gov' was a good ending as well.

I think it is clear now that the two girls are filling the roles of Ben and his brother. Will they have Carl kill one of them like in the comic? I wasn't expecting them to actually show the Gov beheading Hershel, so maybe they will show Carl's coming-out scene.

Here are the groups as they stand now...

Rick and Carl

Tyrese and the kids (Judith??)

Daryl and Beth

The bus (Glen and Sasha are on the bus?)

Michone is alone?

Maggie???

Sasha wasn't on the bus. She was with Maggie and Bob when it pulled away and then the 3 of them took off together. As far as we know, I think it was just Glen and a bunch of extras. I hope they do a quick flashback and show what was going on on the bus in the moments leading up to when they took off. I can't see Glen making that decision. I wonder if another character is going to emerge from that group. I want to say that maybe Carol was lurking around and grabbed Judith and left on the bus but I don't think she would leave the kids. Also if Judith is alive I'm pretty sure she is with Tyreese.

I don't think we've seen the last of Tara and Lilly. They may get killed off in the very next episode but I don't think they will just discard them while they are still alive. Michonne and Lilly were both last seen near the Governor but a few minutes apart. I wouldn't be surprised to see them ending up together. Tara could meet up with any of the other sub-groups.

They left Lilly and the others' destiny to the imagination in the comic, so I could totally see them do that to them in the show.

I just watched the finale again tonight, and I realized something...

Bob and Sasha are going to become a thing, and they will have a pact together.

The Walking Dead Season 4: Andrew J. West Cast As Gareth ? Who?s That? | The Walking Dead | Wetpaint

This is a story about casting for a character named "Gareth". They say he is a conglomerate of multiple characters from the comics. However, I think he is Chris. He looks to be about the right age, and the actors background is from the show "Greek" about a frat. I always pictured Chris as a frat-boy, so it works perfectly.

Another possibility is that he could be Gabriel. I doubt this, though. I think Gabriel will end up getting merged into Morgan if they can get James to sign on as a reg.

The story brings up the possibility if him being Aaron or Eric. Again, I don't like this theory, either. I think it is too early for them. I do not want to run into them until 5.1 at the earliest.

The article proposed Paul as well. NO FUCKING WAY! The casting for Paul/Jesus is too important, and no way they give it to a scrawny pretty-boy. They have to give that role to someone who has some kind of athletic and/or martial arts background. Also, Paul needs to be introduced after Aaron, so 5.1 or 5.2 at the earliest for him.

4.9 was almost cell-for-scene from issues 49 and 50 (and the Michone special issue).

4.10, however, looks like it will deal with Ty, Beth, Daryl, Bob, Sasha, Lizzie and the rest of he kids. Since all of these characters are either dead or non-existent in the comics, this should be primarily fresh content. At the same time, this was the early estimated ep for Abe's crew to show up. It will be interesting to see how they make their debut.

There is a mystery cast member on Talking Dead this week, so I assume it will be Michael Cudlitz who plays Abraham.

Carl gets shot in the face and needs the hat to hide his horribly disfigured face (he loses an eye and basically has a huge hole in his head).

Will Rick become the next villain in the series? Not that his actions were "wrong" (I did not believe Negan for a second), it was just cold-blooded. Negan announced he was speaking under a white flag. Ignoring that kinda makes you a savage.

In response to the question about the driver of the car that "kidnapped" Beth...

That was likely Gabriel.

Gabriel is a character from the comics who joined the group at about this time (JUST before the Hunters). He is a preacher who they find holed up in his church. He has a bit of a past that he is trying to atone for. While he is still alive in the comics (as far as we know) he has become nothing more than extra at this point.

The character has been cast, so we will definitely meet him on the show, but it has not been 100% confirmed that he is the "kidnapper".

hi, just saw the other TWD thread and wanted to join this one. I'm not completely caught up with the comics i've read 2 compendiums which is through 96 comics.

the touched on cannibals in the comics, but it was much closer to Washington DC then Terminus is. They also weren't as organized. so this next season will be interesting as to how long they are in Terminus and how they get out. Then as to if they get back to the comics or not. I'd think they will since they introduced Abraham and the other two.

I always thought the Hunters were more of an afterthought in the comics. They were a small band of incompetent boobs that didn't last long at all. The "Termites" are, at best, loosely based on the Hunters, but outside of that, completely fresh material.
